On February 27, President Xu Zhenhua, Vice President Zhu Wenbin, President of University of Porto SebástiaoFeyo de Azevedo and Vice President Maria de FátimaMarinho visited National HanBan .Jing Wei, deputy director of National HanBan and deputy director general of Confucius Headquarter and Cao Diefeng, division chief of planning division of National HanBan,met with the delegation.
SebástiaoFeyo de Azevedo made a brief introduction of University of Porto and focused on project preparation and development plan of establishing Confucius Institute with Yuexiu.SebástiaoFeyo de Azevedo said that University of Porto will take the establishment of Confucius Institute as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with Yuexiu and promote Chinese language and culture in Portugal.President Xu Zhenhua reported Yuexiu’s internationalization and establishment preparation of a Confucius Institute . With HanBan’s support, Yuexiu will develop a friendly cooperation with University of Porto and spare no efforts to promote the establishment and development of Confucius Institute .
 Jing Wei highly recognized the efforts that Yuexiu and University of Porto made on setting up a Confucius Institute and put forward advice of building characteristics of Confucius Institute, strengthening the cooperation between two universities and be ready to receive HanBan’s  inspection. During the trip in Beijing, President Xu Zhenhua with his delegation visited Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange and discussed about relative cooperation projects.
