Recently, the Ministry of Education’s Information Platform for the Supervision of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools officially announced that two programs submitted by EIT Data Science and Communication College of Zhejiang Yuexiu University, have been approved. The newly approved programs—“Fashion Communication” and “Film and Television Photography and Production”—bring the total number of Sino–foreign cooperative programs at Zhejiang Yuexiu University to five, including Big Data Management and Application, Network and New Media, Digital Media Art, Fashion Communication, and Film and Television Photography and Production, marking a more comprehensive structure. The newly approved programs are scheduled to begin admissions in the fall of 2026.
EIT Data Science and Communication College is a non-independent Sino–foreign cooperative educational institution jointly established by Zhejiang Yuexiu University andEastern Institute of Technology (EIT) in New Zealand, approved by the Ministry of Education. In response to the rapid developments in artificial intelligence, big data, and integrated media, the two institutions leverage complementary strengths and share high-quality educational resources, practice-oriented faculty, as well as internationalized curricula and management models. The partnership promotes interdisciplinary integration and program synergy. The program adopts a“4+0”cultivation model, under which students who meet graduation requirements may obtain certificates issued by both institutions.
