On December 16, Pornchanit Kaew-Nate, Vice President of Suan Dusit Rajabhat University of Thailand, came to Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages together with a delegation of teachers and students for one-month cultural exchange. On the morning of December 19, the president of Yuexiu, Xu Zhenhua had a meeting with the delegation of Suan Dusit Rajabhat University. A deep and substantial talk was conducted between both parties to further cooperation.
Xu extended a warm welcome to the teachers and students from Suan Dusit Rajabhat University (SDRU) and pointed out that the idea of “Chinese and Thai are one family” has been the best description of China-Thailand tie as the “Belt and Road Initiative” brings China and Thailand closer. He believes that the cooperation between Yuexiu and SDRU will certainly bring great strategic opportunities to both universities to better adapt to the trend and push their development of educational internationalization forward, which is the common vision of both.
Vice President of SDRU, Pornchanit Kaew-Nate thanked Yuexiu for its hospitality. She said that SDRU has many things such as educational concept, idea of talent training, specialty construction, etc. in common with Yuexiu. She expressed SDRU’s wishes to launch exchanges and cooperations with Yuexiu on the talent training in Cuisine Culture, Hospitality Management, Nursery Education, Senior Care, etc.During the meeting, the two sides reaches some agreements on cooperative education of Thai language professionals, exchanges of teachers and students and signed contracts involving academic exchanges and cooperation, short-and-long-term based visiting program for both teachers and students, social practice programs for students and degree education program for international students, etc.
