On March 2, President of University of Porto SebastiãoFeyo de Azevedo and vice president FátimaMarinho visited Yuexiu. President Xu Zhenhua, Professor Fei Junqing and Vice president Zhu Wenbin met with the guests. Heads of president’s office, office of international cooperation and exchange, College of Euro-languages, College of Chinese Language and Culture and College of Hospitality Management attended the meeting. President Xu and Professor Fei welcomed the visit of President SebastiãoFeyo de Azevedo and his delegation.Both sides introduced respectively the development situations, especially the situations of international cooperation and exchange of their own university. The two sides discussed about setting up a Confucius Institute and signed the agreement of cooperation.

The agreement is an indication that Confucius Institute cooperation between University of Porto and Yuexiu made an important step forward.
